How to Spend a Weekend in London

Planning a weekend in London? Here are my top 5 recommendations on what to do when you are there to make the most of your time.

1.) Ride the London Eye

The London Eye has some amazing 360° views of the city. You will be able to see Tower Bridge, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, and so much more! Consider booking a fast track ticket in advance to bypass some of the wait time.

2.) Watch the Changing of Guards

Make sure you stop by Buckingham Palace to watch the changing of guards. This occurs every hour starting at 11.00 on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Be sure to arrive 15-20 min early to get a good viewing spot.

3.) Book a Guided Walking Tour

There is a lot to see around London including Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and telephone booths on every corner. Look up some guided walking tours before you go to make sure you see everything.
