Traveling Bali in Your 20’s

Bali is a great place to travel to while in your 20’s for many reasons. The biggest reason is because it is very affordable, the most expensive part of the trip will most likely be your flight. Accommodation is typically pretty cheap in Bali. I went with 5 friends and we rented a private villa with a pool off of Airbnb and it ended up being a total of around $80 American dollars per person for a 2 week stay. Food and drinks also tend to be very cheap here. Not only do you get an affordable trip when visiting Bali, but you also get to see some incredible views. Here are some of my recommendations to take your Bali trip to the next level.

Ku De Ta

Bali has many different beach bars/restaurants. My favorite is Ku De Ta. The food and drinks are delicious and they have different lounge options to choose from including beach chairs, bean bags, and day beds. There is also a pool overlooking the ocean. Additionally, the location is great, with shops and markets in walking distance.

Tegalalang

You have to check out the rice terraces while you are in Bali! I visited a few different ones and my favorite is Tegalalang in Ubud. They have coffee and tea tasting overlooking the beautiful rice terraces. They also have swings, zip-lines, and nests to take the views to the next level.

Kynd Community

A cute brunch spot to try is Kynd Community. I had an acai bowl, nutella toast, and an iced coffee. The food and drinks are so yummy and I loved the chill atmosphere. Furthermore, everything is so aesthetically pleasing so this is the perfect place to take some Insta pics!

Dreamland Beach

A beautiful beach to check out is Dreamland Beach. This is a great beach to go to for a relaxing day. There are cabanas, food stands, and shops along the strip. I loved walking around the limestone cliffs. This is also a great place for surfing. You can’t beat these views!

Bali ATV Tour

Four-wheeling through Bali is a great way to explore the area. We drove through local streets, around a waterfall, and went mudding on a course in the jungle. You can book Bali ATV tours through Google or Trip Advisor.

Uluwatu Temple

My last recommendation is to catch a sunset at Uluwatu Temple. It is a very peaceful environment and the views are incredible. Just be aware of the monkeys that roam the temple, although they are cute, they love to snatch phones and glasses.

I hope you found my Bali recommendations useful. If you are thinking about booking a trip here, it is definitely worth it! You can follow my Instagram for more travel and lifestyle content.
